We have been using the Earlwood hoods since they first went on the market as a pull on hood. Love that they are 95% cotton which is way better for their manes than lycra. They never cut into their eyes. We use these to keep plaits in at shows, often for up to 4 days, and the plaits stay fuzz free and in place! They are the ONLY hood we use for shows and now they have zips, they are even better!

We have 7 horses, 3 retired and 4 in work. The 4 horses in work use Earlwoods hoods 24/7 - in the paddock and at shows. Because the material is mostly cotton, our horses are cool in summer and warm in winter, they stay clean and the sun's rays can't penetrate to burn the coat. We can rest at night knowing these hoods will remain in place. Not only that, some of our hoods are over 5 years old, the zipper is still great and the hoods are a bit faded, but still as good as new.
