Our renowned Earlwood Hood is now available in FLEECE!

OUR POINT OF DIFFERENCE? Overheating can lead to mane loss, hence we have developed this hood to protect the mane, yet keep the neck warm at the same time. This new style hood has the same 95% stretch cotton fabric over the face and the top of the mane, to maintain that perfect fit and breathability, yet the warmth of 340gsm fleece along the neck panels to keep your horse cosy this Winter. 

Zip from chin to chest for ease of use. Large eye holes. Velcro closure under jaw. Elastic ties.

    this new hood is great.

    this new hood is great. but the black & silver hood with ears that i purchased a month ir so ago the zipper has broken after two werks

    So easy

    The full zip make these perfect for my sensitive mare, who hates things being pulled over her head. Great for keeping her warm after being clipped, and protects her mane.

    Good Quality

    Good quality hood but fit isn't great. Very loose over head which makes it easy for the hood to come off when in the paddock

    Hi Tammin, thank you for your feedback. If the hood is too loose over the head, it means it's too big and you likely need to go down a size. These hoods should fit neatly around the head, so that they don't move. I see your pony is a riding pony, and these often have petite heads. We find a lot of riding ponies wear the XS size better. This might be something to try next time? I definitely wouldn't leave a hood on a pony in the paddock that is too loose.
