I love the fabric. Good tail flap coverage. The fabric between the eyes is borderline too wide but just ok. The pole/throatbstrap doesn’t have the sticky part of the Velcro long enough and I have a few inches flapping at the top which is not great. Can tend to get gunked up with dirt when he rolls, so a bit hard to keep properly secure. Would definitely rather have an adjustable strap with a clip.

On the 2026 version about to be released this month, we have refined the hood pattern and also adjusted the length of the throat strap, so that should hopefully improve things going forward. Will definitely take on your feedback about a different strap closure style though.

Great fit and great material! My mare runs really hot ao this has been great for her, the only negative is the hood is too broad between the eye and ear holes, and she is a QH. Besides that, the throat strap is a tad long, so an adjustable strap would be perfect. In saying all that, I would still recommend and will buy another one!
