This hooded combo has well positioned eye holes, whether your horse's head is up or down. Flag fabric ears instead of ripstop provide extra breathability. There are 4 strong plastic clips that do up the head/neck piece for easy rugging, and a velcro safety strap for added security of the hood.

The rug section has satin lined shoulders, neck section and tail flap. (Tail bag attachment already stitched on.)

Double chest straps, belly straps, generous shoulder gussets, fleece wither pad, as well as dog clips on leg straps.

Superior quality 310 gsm ripstop fabric (45% cotton/55% polyester).

The renowned fit of an Earlwood rug means no movement.

 

*Washing instructions: Machine washable. Do not use bleach. Dry cleanable. Do not tumble dry. Wash separately in cold water on gentle cycle with mild detergent. Line dry.

    Great quality

    Very happy with the quality of the ripstop fabric. The cut of the rug and hood is also mostly good. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the eye holes are a little small and far apart. I will be sending it to get altered and hope to then offer rave recommendations.

    Great rug love the ears

    My mare Star looking Snazzy in her new combo. I love the mesh ears and she seems super happy too. She has had this on for over a week and no issues (she suffers from QLD Itch so this has been fantastic)

    Good fitting rugs

    Hi, I have used the mesh combos and the dual season rugs so thought would give these a try. Happy with fit and the hood has been kind on her mane. Eugena clearly is happy with it too

    Quality rug

    Great Rug and fitted my 15.3hh stockhorse really well except for the hood part which was way to big for him so I had to get it taken in around the face.

    Thank you for your feedback Helen. Stock horses can be tricky, as they often have very fine heads. We'd be keen to hear more feedback on what needed adjusting and where, so we can look to improve in future. We are considering whether a 6'0 size hooded combo needs to have the option of a cob or full size head, to suit different style horses, so this may be an option we add to the range in future, however yours should have had a cob sized head. Would be great if you could send more info or any photos. Thank you.
